Richard La Trobe Bateman studied sculpture at the St. Martin School of Art and furniture at the Royal College of Art. At the Wood Awards in 2003 he was winner of the Innovation Award. His work can be found in many public collections including The Victoria and Albert Museum in London. This 1983 take on Arts and crafts is simply exquisite.
