18th Century Dutch painted Corner cupboard from Amsterdam region.
The image is a copy of a Rubens painting. This painting was copied by etcher Paulus Pontius. Pontius worked in Rubens studio from 1624 & died in 1648. His etching was then copied by the painters of the Amsterdam Cupboards in c1740.
Condition is very good with no losses to painwork. The Lock mechanism is a modern replacement. 92cm tall 52cm across.
